This was a very interesting podcast, Ben. Back when the earth was flat, I learned the old testament through a comic book. it was a graphic novel basically and pulled no punches about the wars and violence. I found it exciting and learned more about the Old Testament than anyone else I knew at the time. I would’ve been around seven.

I re-listened to this, and I really appreciated that what could have been a judgmental diatribe became a report of personal passion. It made me stop and think about why I haven’t done more personal and communal Bible reading, and why I might like to (rather than why I ”should”).
